South Jordan elections take place every year, with municipal elections for South Jordan Mayor, or City Council races, often taking place in odd years, for four year terms. In the 2025 Municipal Election South Jordan has three questions on the ballot: Mayor, City Council District Three, and City Council District Five.

General Election Information
Elections in Salt Lake County are mainly conducted by mail. Ballots are mailed to active, registered voters 21 days prior to an election, to the address where you are registered to vote. The post office does not forward ballots. Contact the Salt Lake County Election Office if you need to change your ballot mailing address.
Election Day Vote Centers are open for the 2025 General Election on Tuesday, November 4, from 7:00 am - 8:00 pm. Mail in ballots MUST be received by 8:00 PM on Election Day. Ballots should be mailed in advance to ensure they are received by the close of in-person voting on election day.

October 21, 2025 - Early Voting Begins, Salt Lake County Government Center
October 24, 2025 - Last Day to Register to Vote in the Municipal Election
October 28, 2025 - Last Day to Request Municipal Ballot
November 4, 2025 - Municipal General Election Day
